Psychoeducational assessments help children, families, and teachers better understand the learning needs of a child or adolescent. They can be used to diagnose:

  • Learning Disabilities
  • Giftedness
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

Formal assessment services are offered for children between the ages of 6 and 17. These take between 6-10 hours depending on the questions to be answered. A formal report including recommendations for home and school is then provided.

Although assessment services may be offered through a child’s school, many families choose to pursue these services privately to avoid long waitlists. Supplementary assessment is also offered by Dr. Keaschuk to complement the assessments completed by schools, if there are further questions to be answered.
